I am a philosopher working on the self and the subjectivity of experience. My research sits at the intersection of philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and philosophy of physics, and asks what the first-person point of view means for our attempts to give an objective account of reality.
I hold an MA in Philosophy from Central European University in Vienna, where my thesis, Understanding the First-Person Viewpoint from the Third: Some Remarks on Being Someone, was supervised by Lisa Doerksen, and a BA in Philosophy and Sociology, with a minor in Astronomy, from Dartmouth College.
